Daniel Rappa

For New Castle County Recorder of Deeds

Daniel’s platform for the office is to update technology and implement state of the art security features.

A Fresh Start

Despite having a technology fund created for this intended reason, the current elected official has yet to implement new technologies. Year after year, my opponent’s continues to make the promise to update technology with their Technology Fund, yet we as taxpayers are left paying for a fund that shows no benefit.

Mission & Values

It wasn’t until the purchase of his first house in 2013 did the Recorder of Deeds office pique his interest. He quickly learned that his expertise in business and research would be impactful to the row offices within county headquarters. His relationships with real estate agents, attorneys and mortgage brokers have helped further his decision to run for the office. This experience established his involvement with relatable non-profit affiliations, including his involvement with Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County. As of June 2018, he was elected the vice-president of the Young Professionals group. By August 2018, he helped organize the “Food Trucks for Humanity” event at Bellefonte Brewing Company.  This charity event raised over $5,200 for New Castle County and was attended by over 400 people. The funds raised from this event have been be used to revitalize low-income housing in New Castle County.
